Gaga only had her pop songs sent to the radio in the past. There's no correlation between the two. Lady Gaga | Shakira

It is not taking off because of Gaga's brand and reputation, it has nothing to do with the song or its radio potential. I don't think that the fact that this is an "unusual" sound for Gaga makes it less likely to get played. G.U.Y. was a typical Gaga song and it barely got played, for example. And, if this was the case for other artists, then Rihanna (for example) would have gotten trouble before with her singles such as Stay, 45S, etc. that break the mold in her catalogue. ArtGagaPop 61,940
10 Lady Gaga - Million Reasons 0.4648 0.4585 It got a light green update in canada. I wonder what makes them keep buying it so much when it's falling in US at 33 with a discount and the ama boost is over.

I think 4 will be her Hot 100 peak since sale just aren't there like they should be. Honestly I'll be happy with a peak of 4 on Overall radio because HAC pays her dust and since Urban radio won't touch any of her songs top 5 on Overall radio never seemed possible to me. I thought the song would peak at #6 but the adds continue to surprise me and now HAC might actually play the song. Also now the Spanish and Latin Urban picked the song up too, so they add a couple points to the audience so I am excited to see what happens.
