MR is one of Gaga´s most radio friendly songs and it is a very radio friendly song in general...

So why is it not taking off 

Adele is known for making slower songs, releasing ballads (if you will) as singles. Gaga only had her pop songs sent to the radio in the past. There's no correlation between the two.

It is not taking off because of Gaga's brand and reputation, it has nothing to do with the song or its radio potential.

I don't think that the fact that this is an "unusual" sound for Gaga makes it less likely to get played.  G.U.Y. was a typical Gaga song and it barely got played, for example. And, if this was the case for other artists, then Rihanna (for example) would have gotten trouble before with her singles such as Stay, 45S, etc. that break the mold in her catalogue.

Guys the reason why US radio is playing it so little is all part of interscopes master plan for this single.They know what they are doing, just wait and this will turn 1 on pop&HAC radio + hot 100

Honestly I'll be happy with a peak of 4 on Overall radio because HAC pays her dust and since Urban radio won't touch any of her songs top 5 on Overall radio never seemed possible to me. I thought the song would peak at #6 but the adds continue to surprise me and now HAC might actually play the song. Also now the Spanish and Latin Urban picked the song up too, so they add a couple points to the audience so I am excited to see what happens.
