Music video should come the Friday after, she she has two high weeks instead of one

People are not interested in Gaga in that way anymore

They will not flock to watch her video a week later.

If she gains some buzz with her performance and releases right after there is a higher chance that she can capitalize on the momentum that she creates.

People don't flock to videos in general. They go to them when a song sells or takes off on radio.

Not if a video is very very very good or scandalous a la Miley Cyrus.

Thrasher

I was thinking about this some days ago, has Youtube's power decreased in favour of others streaming services? Views for videos are a little bit poor lately even for big artists, unless the song doesn't become a smash or the video goes viral.

I expected Perfect Illusion to reach 100M at this point, but also songs like Adele's Send My Love or Bieber's Company haven't reached 300M views after six months.

Company wasn't a hit and Send My Love's video is.. boring, it smashed on Spotify. Work From Home has a lot of views.

It kinda just depends. Some artists are bigger on different platforms. I think if MR were big, for example, Gaga would do much better on YouTube and digital sales than she would Spotify. Her Spotify strength isn't very *huge* compared to some other stars.

+2 position each day ain't bad man

Will we get +100 spins update? I see most of the top 5 songs they get 100+ spins each day...

Once bigger stations add it, more stations will follow. Hopefully in the next round of adds after AMA's (if she performs it).

Yes but considering their streaming power and the success of their previous videos, i expected a bit more. Even Rise shocks me, in comparison to Katy's numbers during the Prism Era (even for songs that were flops), but oh well, i think that now the success is just for singular songs rather than for the artists.

Million Reasons and The Greatest finally taking off running in radio. The Greatest seems like it's going to be a sure hit in radio. I hope it's the same for MR.

My Queens finally getting some radio airplay. For their current singles.:whitney:
