It's nice that we have a bit of a base to blast off from but it will really take off after the AMA's when people are aware of it as a single. No use having a meltdown until then. And it isn't unusual for a song, especially a ballad, to take a whole to catch on. It took Love On The Brain a month, it also took Mercy by Shawn Mendes a month, and that had a video and live performances. Is love on the brain considered a hit? Also it's like the 4th single like 9 months after anti. Plus Rihanna had like what? 3 singles going top 10 this year while Gaga has had 0. It's quickly picking up airplay and people seem to like it. It will probably end up Either in the Top 15 or lower end of the Top 10 like Needed Me and have the same staying power. It could happen. MR has still the AMAS and the video, which can make the song jump on ITunes and radio finally see it. But the single era has started. A lot of big artists are performing, so I am curios to see how it will affect Million Reasons. Will it be overshadowed by other catchy songs? Or do ballads do better in general? I understand her of course.. i'm even upset with the election results and I am not american.. I just hate it that this has to happen when she's in the middle of rebranding and selling music.. guess everything she has done to repair damage is wasted..
