ARTPOP only got to 2 in italy and 2 Australia and 3 in Canada Everything is relative. The album could debut at position 10 in the world and stay there for months. It would sell however much. Conversely it could disappear from the charts shortly after

Well I dont know about France, but we dont have to worry about a Top 10 debut in Austria. I'm pretty sure she will debut inside the Top 5. Gaga has been #1 for almost 2 days and is now #6. Two of the artists in front of are random rappers who do not sell many physical albums. Gaga on the other hand is usually selling lots of physical albums. Also Carpool Karaoke is popular here and will give the album a boost and gets media exposure, so I dont think we need to worry about a Top 5 debut

Austria is a small country, you cant expect artists to sell 100k copies here (well, Gaga did with The Fame)

Austria has 8,5 million inhabitantes, same as New Jersey. If Gaga sell 150k copies in the US, that means just 4k albums are sold in NJ. Is Gaga selling that much there? PS: Selling 100K in Austria/Belgium/Sweden is an incredible achievement. http://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/227246-ceremony-gagas-videography-megarate/
ViviLittleM 3
I really hope to have a great surprise and hopefully the iTunes chart in France doesn't mean much and fans bought a lot of physical copies but I doubt it.

Yes, ARTPOP is her lowest selling solo-album here, is certified Gold and sold about 10k copies

It looks nice as a stat, but that's it.

Though one has to admit, that it was a concert, where lots of tickets were on sale on the last day, but same in Germany, Cologne if I remember correctly? I think I read some article on that "issue"... Edit: We're talking artRave: ARTPOP Ball, right? https://www.last.fm/user/derOlliM
