She also worked with Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, and Fernando Garibay during 2015. Giorgio and Nile deny it now, but that's only because they weren't photographed in the studio together. Garibay hasn't said shizz, but Giorgio confirmed he was there.

Now here's my theory, and it's good. I've seen plenty of GGDers here say that they think she's gonna release LG6 a lot quicker than expected. So maybe not a 3 year + wait? If so, what will she release? Nile just recently said something about a project that he and Gaga did being good and it's gonna be worth the wait or something. So what if she's planning on releasing the original LG5? Okay, that's cool, but why did she wait and release Joanne first? Well her contract with Interscope is 5 albums long. And with this album she's being very submissive to them (as opposed to ARTPOP). So maybe she's wanting to leave Interscope on good terms (just to be nice), then become an indie artist, release TFM/BTW 2.0 and be as creative and fun as she can be without any restrictions 

Conclusion, original LG5 was "too crazy, too gaga" whatever. So she put together a quick album to finish her contract so she can release it afterwards

Am I the only one that feels like she might use the RedOne tracks along with Nile + Garibay + Moroder, Diane, Elton on her next album? I really feel like Joanne is her "Bedtime Stories" (a more quiet, toned down record to regain back an audience after the backlash of her last release (ARTPOP being her "Erotica")), meaning her next album will be her big "return" to the pop scene maybe (i.e. "Ray Of Light")?

I hope it's the case but I may be wrong.

Joanne the song isn't Paradise but both are songs about Joanne

Paradise came first and was suppose to be Gaga's original jazz song on Cheek To Cheek but she felt it was a risk and she's too shy to put an original jazz song, I can link you to when she talked about Paradise and why she didn't put it out if you want, it was stated in a QnA with Gaga daily.

So since the Joanne song didn't make it on the jazz record, she had to write about Joanne when it came time to make LG5.

I've read that before but i've forgotten already, as usual. Yes that's what i thought, cause i think she had already talked about th poem her aunt had written.

She really needs to get her confidence up and get out the idea that she is a pop songwritter and whatnot. And her style is pop, she's so obssessed with some notions, i really don't get it. If only she would free herself, she would rule the world

I do believe she has a good amount of material to make LG6 , whereas with Joanne she didn't wanna use any ARTPOP leftovers since it was received negatively, however I wouldn't say Joanne is her rush album, she's passionate about it just as much as her "crazier" albums and I don't see her leaving Interscope tbh.

I also believe Joanne is the album she dreamed about, in the sense since TF days she wanted an album produced by Mark and not just a song. I also won't forget that Gaga said she wants to explode as she enters her 30's, not just when she turns 30. She loves being diverse, that's what I learned with Gaga, her diversity is everything to her. So it is not a reach at all to say that she has future musical projects in stores for us sooner rather than later.

I hate to talk about "what the old Gaga would do" but it wouldn't be a bad idea to release the scrapped RedOne songs in an EP like TFM to come out like December of next year or January 2018

Gaga should release another 11 track album in the beginning of 2018, and she should just release a couple singles off it as a mini-era.

Really ? Bad Romance is my least favorite lead Gaga single for some reason...listening back. Is this the case for anyone else?
