The vocals are "unedited" cause it makes sense for them to be so, it would be weird to have instrumentals with guitars, pianos, and so and robotic autotuned vocals, as it would be weird to have raw vocals in an EDM track.

swine says hi :sis:  I agree, but to some extent it should be edited... like even in Speechless or You and I it isnt just raw vocals but it still showcases her vocal talent

I just would like to add, this edited things we are talking

Some of you might know but all these recordings we hear are attrocities. The songs in this record are sang in one take, at least most of it seems like that way.

What's common is the producer choosing the best chorus, for example, and doing a copy paste for everytime the chorus repeats. They're not singing it again...i think that's just. Well no words to describe it.

And the rest is mostly sweing and more copy paste, you don't need to know how to breathe. You just need to sing good for 30 sec. and then sing the next part

This is not singing, sorry. It makes no sense.

Out of curiosity, have you ever heard Janis Joplin on record? Missed notes all over the place, sometimes nasal, sometimes harsh, and sometimes even soft and beautiful. But it was always compelling and alive. I think that's what Gaga achieved on this record.

I love the vocals this way, it feels more connected, more live, like she's inside my room and singing to me...

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I love her vocals on this album. I've always loved Gaga's live vocals more than studio. The vocals are perfect for me. For example, I love how she sings the bridge in Diamond Heart and how she sings Jameson.

This is what I love most about this album and especially the song, Joanne. That song is already my favorite.. Some of the other songs sound like our usual pop Gaga to me, but it makes the certain others stand out more.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I have no complains for this album. All it's imperfections are amazing, honestly...
