I must say, I really don't get all these comparisons of Dancin' In Circles to No Doubt

It's actually exactly what I thought when I heard the track. The "baby don't cry" part just screams Gwen.

Oh I heard it right away, right up there with Ace of Base. That 90's carefree sound

Could be higher but RS is quite critical so this is still very good! :applause:

I believe it's normalized to a Metacritic scale. So I don't think 3.5/5 necessarily means a 70/100. http://www.metacritic.com/about-metascores

EDIT: I'm wrong. It ends up as 70/100 on metacritic, but is then normalized when factored into the average score.

I don't understand "normalized". <strike>As I see 3.5 it's a 75, isn't? So in metacritic is counted as 70? In both, the sum and the display rating from Rolling Stone?</strike>
Also, I didn't understand why when Joanne had only 4 reviews (60+40+80+60) had a rating of 58, when the average was 60...
Sorry if I don't understand, or I didn't explain myself pretty well, I'm still learning english ^^° Greetings!

Edit: I don't know what I was thinking, of course it's a 70!, sorry My bad...

The No Doubt is because she sounds like Gwen in some parts, but yes, also very much Ace of Base (I Saw the Sign)

They take into account the publication's credibility/weight and also how often they dish out high or low scores. So it's not simple average, it's weighted average.

3,5/5 is pretty good for RS

They give 25 a 100  I love Adele but 21 and 19 deserve more than 70

See everyone is biased back when 21 was out they give it a 60 :toofunny: because Adele wasn't this big :emma:
