Rolodex of Hate 1,761
Unfortunately, I just can't listen to this song anymore, even though the melody is so good, because of her incredibly flat note. Skip to around 2:02 when she says 'wild AmerIcan' - when she says the 'i' it completely drops off key and is unbelievably flat. How could someone in her team not have noticed this before releasing it? We have no legal choice but to stan

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
I'm a musician; A flautist/piccoloist/used to be a average vocalist (but dont have time for that anymore ) I have a pretty good sense of pitch and that note is really not noticably out of tune, it is less in tune than the first chorus but seriously its not a big deal The second verse in Joanne is way more exposed pitch wise than this It's a raw sounding record in general, she doesn't have to be perfect, but she's pretty spot on most of the time, and when she isn't, there are clearly reasons she chose to keep the tracks how they are 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Queen Gloria 3,464
It's not flat at all, maybe you're thinking of a different point in the song? Because at 2:02, it's perfectly on key. Maybe not pleasant to your ears, but technically it's not wrong.
StarBoy 58
Also come to mama at the end and some parts of Perfect Illusion. But duh it doesnt matter. Gaga and her team knows this and they want raw vocals i guess. i believe this album doesnt use autotune like others does. this made me love Joanne more contrary to yours. Rock N Roll B*tches! I've played it to musical people who've said the 'i' in American is completely off (I for one am a Grade 8 pianist and saxophonist) We have no legal choice but to stan
