The lyrics, the production, the structure of the song. It is RAW, it is REAL, it is INCREDIBLE. This should have been the lead single (in my humble opinion...) and at a minimum needs to be a single and deserves a music video. Let's break it down: The slow intro, simple guitar here really pulls the listener in with some strong, dark Americana lyrics. 'Some asshole broke me in...' she croons as the guitar starts to build - she's letting us know that this song is going to take us on a fantastic journey to the dark side. This truly feels like a spiritual successor to the smash hit 'Bad Romance' due to the lyrical nature (she'll just keep gogoin', BR video allusion!), powerhouse vocals, and stellar production and pacing of the song (read: I really can't stand when people say "Omg is this Bad Romance 2.0??" etc. etc., NO!, each song should stand on it's own! - this simply feels like a spiritual successor to one of her biggest hits). The build up to the chorus is incredible too as the music starts to fill and the lyrics get even more strong. One of her most impressive songs lyrically on the album! Gaga's strong vocals drive the song, but the drums and production are simply complimentary and absolutely perfect. One of the most satisfying Gaga songs ever in terms of aggressiveness, energy, and that soaring chorus. When I hear it, I hear The Corrs on steroids.
