PerfectGypsy 929
I'm so glad I didn't listen to the leaks so that I could keep the album's release as an event and hear the whole album as a full body of work. It was worth the wait. I am really floored by the album, there isn't a song I don't like. It flows beautifully. DH is a great album opened and gets better as the song goes on. A-Yo is a fun song and fits in well here. Joanne is beautiful, the melody is so breathtaking. But it isn't devastating, which I'm glad about, it's still emotional but also hopeful in a way. So poignant. I don't love John Wayne as much as many people here do, but I still love it. I prefer the versus to the chorus. The ending slated me! DiC is a really great and catchy song, and I can see why it reminds people of TFM. I know for a lot of people it's their fave track, but I've always preferred Gaga's more emotional songs than party songs. But I love how intricate the song is. PF fits perfectly here and hearing in the album made me love it more. MR is one of my favourite Gaga songs and is so beautiful. Sinner's Prayer is a great song and is a different vibe for Gaga. Not one of my favourites but I still love it. Now here is my favourite part of the album - the last half (about)! Come To Mama SLAYED ME! It really feels like nothing I've heard before from her and is so unexpected, and as the song went on I just got this massive grin on my face. Really one of the highlights. From the snipped I was meh on Hey Girl but I love it! The lyrics are beautiful and catchy. Now Angel Down, truly a stunning song. Some of Gaga's most beautiful song writing. When I was listening I wasn't sure if it was worth the hype or if it needed something else, but I really think it needs a few listens to realise how beautiful it is. It's a little bit other worldly but just what we need in the world right now. I enjoyed the work tape but I like the final version best. Next, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but Grigio Girls is my favourite track. It is just so beautiful and simple. I'm a writer and I love hearing people's stories, and that's why I think it appeals to me. It's telling a story, a beautiful, bittersweet story. And I think for a lot of people hearing Gaga tell quite a normal story about friendship will be surprising. Next was JAD and I wasn't expecting much but I love this! What a cute, uplifting song. I hear FameGa vocals and I love it! Overall, I don't understand how anyone could feel disappointed. The album is really stunning and will hold up against many many repeated listens. I am so proud of Gaga and thankful for this album, it says so many things I need (and many need) to hear and I'm thankful she put that over making trendy party songs. It has throwbacks to some of her old work, but in ways that isn't a throwback. It just shows she's always the same girl, no matter what she's wearing. And just because it isn't technically weird, it is still very Gaga and different to what everyone else is doing. Some of the music sounds off the beaten track and makes you stop (DiC, JW, AD) which is typical Gaga. She has never needed out-there lyrics to be different. REALITY 76,750
It's good that you waited, it means you have self-control I didn't and I listened to the album early. It's a truly spectacular album, and probably my favorite that she's released! I too love Come To Mama, it's sounds so much like a John Lennon song, and I love him, so when I first heard it, I was just so excited and amazed by it. Glad you like it (as if this is my album ) 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰

danilov 288
One word I describe the album, it's very REFLECTING. most of the songs (their lyrics mostly) feels like you are thinking of the past, thinking of the future, thinking of the people you love, thinking of world. the album feels very spiritual for me, in general at least. Im a happy Monster!
