So I've seen lots of members on here freak out and have meltdowns with a couple of the reviews that have been released recently. So I thought to put all of the great reviews into this thread, hope everyone has a great day listening to one of the years best albums! (there's quite a few! If this is okay with the mods :classy:)

I'm assuming most of these don't count for metacritic, but it's no matter. Listen, it's not our job to be obsessing over critical reception, nor is it our job to be influenced by them. Don't forget: Gaga has always been polarizing. Even when she tones down the provocation many people just don't get her quirks, and that will continue. She's weird, theatrical, and very blatant in her musical direction. Some people don't like that, and it's fine.

I can understand someone who's completely removed from her to listen to Joanne and not like it. I can also understand a music critic thinking the album is honest and bold. Many artists have a very linear appeal and can thus draw a more unanimous reception, but Gaga changes hats all the time. Some people assume she needs to stay in her lane and fault her for diverting from it, and other people love her diversity. So again, it's not up to you to declare how people should feel about her. Your job as a fan is to buy her music.
