It's not easy to regain good image, look at Janet Jackson.

This music isn't my cup of tea and everything she has done for this era are all very average. Then leave already so those of us who do appreciate her and her new music can enjoy it without having to see grumbling from two-dimensional people who can't think outside of the box and expand their horizons. I'm not just gonna leave already What kind of a response is that? Look, I love a lot music genres and probably listens to even more complex music than you ever will. But this "raw" genre she is going for is boring af I’m getting on your nerves

The follow up promo single also flopped. Your deluded. I'm lazy so I quote wiki: "Upon release, "Perfect Illusion" received mixed to positive reviews from music critics.[13][41]" If I remember right, one of the most critical review was done by a biased Britney stan. You wrong on this one.

Like our peer does. Gaga does not play safe. I'm sorry but this is just like ****ing delusional at this point. The Fame pushed the envelope. The Fame Monster pushed the envelope. Born This Way pushed the envelope. They all did so while managing to garner massive success and recognition because they were innovative in the context of pop culture, and they captured the public's attention on what it was she wanted to say to the world. Joanne is a mediocre record. Sonically, it is not innovative, and as damn good as Gaga is at writing hooks and delivering them, none of them hit the mark with garnering public or critical acclaim on this album. Clearly, subjectively, this record is incredibly important for Gaga's career, and her fans and her family. It is sincere and honest. But objectively, it has no traction to make a social or political statement, it has no major impact on any part of pop culture, and it is being panned by critics and listeners who don't already previously adore her. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE WORLD IS UNFAIR AND PEOPLE ARE OUT TO SABOTAGE HER... Maybe she just didn't write a good record, for ****'s sake.

I guess you're deaf and you don't hear some lyrics that are obviously addressing some things, right? Not every song/album/project she's doing has to have huge sign "HEY, I'M DOING THIS, I WANNA SAY...bla bla bla". She is pushing the envelope in the way that she will not compromise of doing stuff other people think she will do because it's more helpful for them to put her in box like they do with everything so they could understand it more easily. And believe me, for mature people that will get those songs (because metaphors are not so strong as in ARTPOP) this album will be legendary. If this album was out 20 years ago my family would play this all day long. This thread gone into wrong direction anyway.

God I cannot with these stans thinking joanne is a God damn rewrite of the Bible! They're probably the same ones who claim the fame is her worst album Joanne is a middle of the road album, for any artist, which means it's an underwhelming album for gaga. She's exhibited far better writing and music, and I remain unsatisfied with joanne. It feels like another album to help mend her image. I was hyped when it leaked, and there's a few songs I like, but the album as a whole cannot and does not stand with her previous efforts. This is my opinion, now those who love it and praise it and all that, I'm glad yall enjoyed it, but don't bash me for not enjoying it, and wanting her to make LG6 an album I'll enjoy
