Many here are constantly saying "why does she respond?", "why does she acknowledge them?, and the answer to that question is that she is simply tired of all the negativity coming from the media for years. It would all be ok if all of these reviews were simply an opinion on the music, but the majority of these sites focus on Gaga's personal life instead of the actual music. Everything reads like a personal insult to Gaga, what she likes, and what she has done in the past rather than an actual critique of the music. Sure she "shouldn't care" but those reviews could impact her career (I'm sure it won't but wouldn't you want praise for something you've worked on?). Joanne is not just an album, it is something personal to her. It is not just a manufactured album to sell, but a memoir. She worked hard for this and compared to other artists, she wrote the majority of it!
