Still 65.

Critics do not matter, but it is sad to see them not appreciating what Gaga is doing with Joanne. And yet piles of garbage like Lemonade get 90+. So yeah... No one should care. :firega:

Lemonade got 90+ wtf??? Why does everyone worship the ground she walks on, she's not that good.

Her movie was impressive tho and her tour/live performances were pretty incredible tbh.

She delivered one of the best (maybe even the best) album of 2016, so I think her score is deserved

Many publications are too hung up on wanting her to return to her 'old' self. This music may be fantastic to us, but to them, they are holding out for a Poker Face/Bad Romance 2.0.

Excluding that clear biased and uneducated NYT review though.

Though, this album is great, I am expecting at least 70-75% overall. Lets just hope the rest can see how much effort that Gaga has put into this album.

To be fair mate, the majority of the fan base wants her to return to her old sound. It's not just the music critics. When you spend that long telling people 'this is the real me, this is the real me' then you drastically change, anyone with half a brain is going to be suspicious. Once she's got a few more albums of proper reinvention under her belt, the critics will back off. The fans are suspicious of this change too, not just music critics.

Hope it reaches 70 at least, all of her albums deserve higher than what they got, especially ARTPOP. Don't really get why this page is such a big de al though

Opinions differ. IMO, she did not have a decent album since 4. :classy: Joanne has so much life, and Lemonade is so boring, already heard, pretentious. As she is. Waiting to be crucified :laughga:

Sure, but I think Gaga and Bey started from very different places for both albums.

While Gaga wanted to strip most of the "electronics" out and go a bit back to her Red&Blue-/Fame era style of music, Beyoncé went with a storyline and broader concept I would say.

I don't think we can really compare both records

...children.

I don't know anybody who likes just one type of music.

"This is the real me" still counts, why not? If it was me, there'd be all kinds of influences and styles. I was raised on queen/beatles/mj, grew up loving spice girls, evanescence, nirvana, Britney Spears,  no doubt, Elton John etc etc

She doesn't need to stick to a lane. Nobody does.

Musically it's piss poor.
