It has just four reviews. Rotten does the same thing and they have to change consensus of films all the time.
Bebe 17,093
Surprising to be completely honest, it's her best work imo. I'd expect her metacritic score to rise from here. I think it's one of her most cohesive works, I think her voice has so much more character on this record, I think the 70's rock vibe is cool, I think her songwriting is among her best, I think there is a maturity in the themes explored that go beyond what she has explored before and I think it's an interesting move for her. It's a contemplative record, it's musical and it harkens back to the idealism and sound of the 70's. I think her growth is completely evident in every aspect of this record, it's a 30 year old woman writing and singing about her feelings and thoughts - not a 30 year old woman saying the same things in the same way as she did in her early 20's. If the critics don't get it so be it, but this is a killer record to me, my favourite album of hers.

Gaga Monster 13,001
Stop freaking out, the album didn't even come out yet and we should expect over 20 more scores to come in GGD Presidential Elections

Katie14 4,828
The only negative things about this album that I can think of are so minor. Spoiler Like her voice when she sings "two" (million or two) in Diamond Heart sounds strained/thin, some songs are too drawn out at the end like Come to Mama, some parts of the A Yo production sound like its trying to hard to be country, there are a few songs where it sounds like Gaga is screaming/straining her voice like the chorus of Million Reasons and PI, the middle 8 in Diamond Heart (Good thing I know what im worth). That is literally every negative aspect of the album I can possibly think of. There are some songs I don't love but thats just personal taste, I can still recognize that they are good quality songs. I really feel like this should be Gaga's best rated album. It deserves an 85.

Anderson123 38,182
You guys need to remember that most reviewers are failed musicians or pressed journalists. Even David Bowie, The Beatles, Queen, Elvis, etc. they all received bad reviews because an album doesn't need to sell millions, be acclaimed or top the charts for you to enjoy it. Her voice. The production is amazing and way better than her previous albums and her lyrics have improved. I can't wait to hold this record in my hands on Friday. I don't care about the reviews. As a fan, it feels like Christmas morning to me. I go to sleep listening to this album and I wake up and listen to it. To be honest, I didn't listen to ARTPOP or BTW like this when it was released. djBuffoon 12,115
I really hope that the remaining critics to review the album will, if not praise it, at least give Gaga the credit she deserves for crafting a vulnerable, unique album. Her and her team did literally everything right: she wrote from a raw and honest place, her lyrics and perspective have never been more mature, the signature pop hooks are certainly prevalent, the songs and instrumentals were constructed from the ground up. For this album to end up with a worse MC score than Prism or Britney Jean or Rebel Heart would signify for sure that critics are full of shït when it comes to this particular artist.
