It is an excuse, no credible critic should be reviewing an album that's not even out yet.

Actually yes I do agree with that point.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

I think bad reviews only make the public want to hear the album even more. Plus, many albums are reviewed negatively but then years later when the review gets revised the album gets a better rating. Reviews get reviewed too. Like how when ARTPOP was rated poorly but is now is considered a lost masterpiece.

We have great music.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Because we live in a time where a New York Times Journalist is advising a Multimillion record selling Artist to collaborate with a one hit wonder pop producing team.

We cannot, neither Gaga, control critic's opinion, so we we have to expect anything in this regard without any preconceived expectation. Just let it flow and enjoy the music.

There are many albums (and other media pieces) which are fan acclaimed but are critically ignored.

The album would have been met with critical praise if it was worthy of it.

Joanne isn't.

Oh well.

We'll see. The NYT was kind of joke. I'm hoping for more professional reviews. But I am seeing a score of around 70. If there's already bad reviews coming, I'd doubt they'll stop at 3. I want to be wrong though.

The lack of authenticity of it? Because she want from Dance/Electro/Pop to this. That's probably it.

She went from jazz to this, or did you forget the last 3 years of her career? :excuseu:

It's not because majority of critics are evaluating her persona or things she did before and comparing it to Joanne.

I haven't seen good written review in a long time. + these people don't know **** about music. They know just about the bling ;)

Populism.

It irks me when people confuse their opinion for a fact. It makes them look some type of way... :ladyhaha:

Glory is the highest rated album by Britney in her career, that made us happy and we really didn't care about sales tbh.

Just hope that Joanne sells good numbers, because at least if it gets negative rep....it sold good?

In which world Rihanna's Anti has a higher(for now)MC score than Joanne when half the album* is interludes with no meaning. :toofunny:

The other half is decent though.

Because that is a tried and true formula that works for pop stars looking to regain cultural relevance. Cough, Madonna.
