There is no info saying that UNESCO denied site's cultural relevance to judaism, it only says that UNESCO choose to name them as muslims do... UNESCO calls East Jerusalem "OCCUPIED PALESTINE" because it is what UN accepts. De jure, the majority of UN member states and most international organisations do not recognise Israel's ownership of East Jerusalem which occurred after the 1967 Six-Day War, nor its 1980 Jerusalem Law proclamation, which declared a "complete and united" Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. As a result, foreign embassies are generally located in Tel Aviv and its suburbs. UNESCO, being an organization of UN, has to call East Jerusalem occupied Palestine because it is the internationally accepted norm. http://www.un.org/Depts/dpi/palestine/ch12.pdf Just like Crimea being Russian occupied Ukraine, Northern Cyprus being Turkish occupied Cyprus. It's only for the Palestinian part and the Temple Mount area.. the Israeli part is still JCM..
