You see a little bit of a dress, but she has a blonde beehive hair. Once the chorus drums kick in, the room lights up to show a classic 60's girl group stage set up with tons of colors. You see her in a bodycon pastel dress with backup singers. She sings the chorus. As the verse comes in, she's walking through suburbia with her dogs looking like a 50's housewife. As the video progresses, this beautifully "perfect" suburban town begins to look more and more fake. She knocks over a cardboard tree, the houses begin to look dilapidated. You see her putting ornaments on a Christmas tree all happily while her husband is crying in his chair, looking completely miserable. She's watching a newscast of mass murder and smiling as she walks over to organize a china cabinet. Scenes like this, in which the reality of the situation is more antiquated and horrifying than her reaction would imply. These are interwoven with her beehive scenes. She laughs at her husband's horrid life. Near the end of the video, they announce a nuclear war. She dances in the streets joyously as the world crashes around her.
