The first time I heard about Lady Gaga was on the radio. I remember the DJ talking about a new artist and their new song "Just Dance" and I thought "What? Do we really need another girl pop star?" :ladyhaha:

This thread because the Joanne leak killed me and then brought me back from the dead. Truly revolutionary.:giveup::giveup:

Truly reverse Warholian, Joanne is the true ARTPOP :giveup::giveup:

Watching the Poker Face video with my sister on her laptop. We couldn't understand how shoe could have so many looks on the same video.

I heard Just Dance in the radio at first. My friends and u used to change the lyrics from DA DA DOO DOO to "gotta doodoo" as a joke but I thought the song was fun.

Didn't think much of her because I was a rock and Japanese rock and pop fan until...

Cherry tree sessions piano version of Poker Face. Sealed the deal. Was a fan ever since. I love theatrics and true musicianship.

Been to Monster Ball, Artrave and Cheek to Cheek concerts.

Met her after the Cheek to Cheek concert in Atlanta. That was my best memory of her. She came into the bar, I had rhinestone covered eyebrows and she ran right over to me and we took pics together. Sarah and her hung out with me and my wife at the bar pretty most of the time she was there and then she sang with Brian Newman's band. Next morning she posted our pic together on her instagram. Super amazing night and that was the time I got to drink at a bar with my idol and the only millionaire I've ever hung out with lol.

My fave Gaga items are my costumes. I love dressing up as her and would love to do tribute performances. Yaaassss at halloween being so soon

It was in 2008 when I was a sophomore at NYU. My oldest sister had texted me that I needed to check out this chick named lady gaga because and I quote "she could be your twin Sarah". I was skeptical but I did anyway and omg I was blown away. It was terrifying how much of myself I saw in gaga. All of her mannerisms and little quirks were so me.  Lol I contemplated getting a DNA test to make sure we're not actually related hahaha. The similarities were so striking that my sister started calling me "mini gaga". Both my sisters and my friends still call me that to this day.

She was performing at Dinah Shore in 2009 and as she performed pokerface, she walked along and gently grabbed the first rows hands. She had the softest hands. I mean like baby butt soft. For that split second that she grabbed my hand everything felt right in the world. She gave me the best advice that night after a drunk chick behind me had spilled her red drink (idk what it was. It was definitely alcoholic though) all over my new dress. She turned to me and said and I quote "throw some white vinegar in the wash cycle and it'll come right out". Best advice ever.

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

I was in elementary school. At recess one of my friends started singing Poker Face. I had no idea what he was talking about. Later that night I googled that song and thats when I was hooked.

My earliest Gaga memory was in late 2008 (or early 2009)? I remember seeing a picture of her for the first time on someone's MySpace (lol).  She had her iconic hairbow, sunglasses, and a pale pink latex pencil skirt.  She looked adorable.

I didn't start listening to her music until Summer of 2009 though (because I really was NOT into pop music at the time; I actually avoided it for the longest time).

When my husband and I were together we lived on huge farm in north New Jerey and it was a VERY volatile and toxic relationship.  I found myself CONSTANTLY hiding out in the barn, listening to music, and being with my horses, pigs, and pygmy goats.  After a REALLY bad fight one night I ran out to the barn and went upstairs to play the radio to calm down and escape for a bit. After the song that was currently playing ended i heard Poker Face and it was a total bipolar experience for me, I went from sad and emotional to feeling elated and started dancing hard when the first chorus dropped. I was changed ever since and found a soul mate of mine that I've only seen in person once but feel like she's around me everywhere I am. I didn't listen to the radio much before that night so I never heard of her or just dance but I was an instant monster when Poker Face came on the scene.

Marry the Night saved my life when I heard it first in a hospital I was staying at for depression when my husband and I officially split. This was my biggest influential moment I ever had with her to date.  It's now my souls anthem and listen everyday in the shower. Lol

Watching the Poker Face music video (why was I even allowed on the internet at the time) and being weirded out by the visuals. MESS

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

i was about 9/10 when poker face was big and i used to steal my sisters sunglasses and glue glitter onto them to recreate the "crystal glasses" from the fame and force my mum to take pictures of me wearing them

OMG I use to think she was so inappropriate in that video! I once even decided to watch the Alejandro music video in class and the teacher saw the scene with Gaga humping the man on the beds and I got sent to the principal's office :saladga:
