this guitar accompanied ballad is something that i've really craved from Gaga for years.

it's quaint and charming, filled with emotion and honest lyrics. a true gem in the album.
an unfolding story with one of the album's most memorable hooks; "Girl, where do you think you're going?"

a beautiful ode to her late Aunt, in the voice of her Father.

Super important and all reaching spirit in a song. This song is everything that Gaga has said that it is. I am very proud for her, that she was able to translate so much into her song writing with so much spirit by word and by song, through her vocals. Gaga really did deliver and it's chilling and precious.

- haunt me Joanne

Holy ****? This is, at least for me, the most beautiful song she’s ever recorded. Like, if you’ve ever lost someone in your life, this one is going to make you emotional. I managed not to cry the first time, but I don’t think I’ll be so lucky next time. The chorus really is just so soft and beautiful. Wow.

Girl, where do you think you're goin'?

Can't agree more...It's the first song of her that touches me that much...:diane::diane:

First impression while listening:

Oh shi.t the emotions hit fast :S

It has more of an upbeat 'hippy' vibe to it than I expected. There's an innocence. It makes me think of sitting in the grass under a tree in the summer for some reason. It's hard to explain.

That "giiirl"  gets me oh my lord.

That was an unexpected experience! I didn't think I'd get emotional after coming straight out of energetic A-yo!

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Sorry if it's been mentioned already but I just realized what an interesting parallel to Speechless this song is in terms of Gaga talking to her dying Dad vs. her Dad talking to his dying sister. Gods this woman can channel pain like no other

I feel like the essence of the emotions Gaga was feeling during the recording of this song have become stuck in the music itself. You can almost feel it.

This song is really beautiful.

Kermit the frog

I cried again this morning, after sobbing to it yesterday during the first play :smh:

The world needs to hear this song.

I just dont like the fact that the last chorus is copy+paste of the second one. Cant you record a song in one take, bitch?
