I voted for Come to Mama because it's literally the most dynamic track on the record and brings something radio friendly + a new sound for her plus the lyrics are really appropriate for the wounds in our country right now.

Perfect Illusions was the right choice and the most single-worthy material from the album. I really don't hear any hits from this album. Nevertheless, I love it.

I just chose another song everytime I listen the album again and I can;t decide Come to Mama /HeyGirl/DancinginCircles :oprah: after 3 replays Ayo really sounds like a bop tho' :awkney:

A-YO or John Wayne if they wanted a shot at getting a smash-hit. Million Reasons would have been pretty cool too but I think Perfect Illusion was quite a cool way to lead us into the album.

It's so hard picking "the right" anything in this album. The entire record is great (fantastic, actually), but pinpointing tracks for mass appeal as lead, 2nd, etc singles is difficult.

Perfect Illusion was probably the "safest" out of the 11, but the album is a big FU to commercial music to be frank, so she could have gone with any of the songs.

A-YO and Dancin' in Circles are the most catchy/GP-friendly tracks and after hearing the album I cannot imagine what was going through Interscope's brain when they chose PI as the lead. It's a good song but it does not have anywhere near the "grab" factor of these two.

Then again, Dancin' in Circles is a tad sexual for a lead single, so the most obvious choice (to me) would have to be A-YO.
