That is true, knowing how little people in the US actually care about their democracy (gerrmandering, biased media, bypassing senate, obstructionism, supreme court judges have a clear political affiliation..)

And the big US media still have a clear goal in mind which is to earn as much money as possible. That's why they gave Trump the comeback narrative in September, making the race seem tighter than it actually was and why they're now trashing Trump at every opportunity. That's also why they kept the recordings for just before the elections. I'm not complaining though, because right now it's working in Hillary's favour which is the only thing that counts right now (seeing as Trump would make the US a semi-autocracy).

None of the things that you listed are something the people really have control over. You could say that obstructionism is slightly tied with whom we elect, but when it's party based, even that's out of our control to a large extent.

They're only trashing Trump because the things he's saying aren't defendable. Besides, close races bring voter turnout, so Trump and Clinton favored from that.
