According to CNN it's "illegal" to read these documents unless it comes from the media because they are "different".

Laughable.

Well, if it's true then I guess they have the right to say it? The "you're getting it from us!!" was kinda creepy but the rest is okay I guess?

Media in the US is private and thus biased :emma: it's all business so it's understandable. Apparently there's no demand for truly objective media in the US, but CNN and NBC come closer to that than Fox.

Private and public are biased, but private is much less bias.

Public is obviously less biased because they have to be objective and not cater to a specific kind of viewers. Ratings don't matter, so less sensationalism and more actual journalism. Not every country is like Russia :rip: private is more biased, and US TV proves that.

Not every country is Russia, yea, but that doesn't mean it couldn't slowly turn into Russia's propaganda machine. Whomever is in power will still be able to send down orders to the media. It's good to have a mix of both. And yes, some private agencies are biased in the US (Fox and CNN) but there are hundreds of others that aren't bias or biased at all.
