It all felt very fresh and I love how she moves, it felt like she rehearsed every single part of it all 'til the moment it had to happen. Beyoncé has topped Gaga's stage game for years now. It helps that she can sing her early stuff - like Crazy in Love - without me getting that awkward feeling that she secretly hates it (like Gaga and TF/TFM). This I can agree with. Especially with the artRave Gaga just seemed to quickly rush through her hits whereas Bey always seems to give older hits a breath of fresh air. However, like what others have been saying, Beyonce is more of a dancer with polished performances. Gaga is more spontaneous and theatrical. Both are very different performers. Besides Gaga's tributes, we haven't seen much in heavily rehearsed performances for her songs. But maybe I'm wrong and someone could point out a recent performance. It's late... KingRedd 3,139
I love the vibe of Joanne. I just hope Gaga doesn't give up on her performance art and creative side. I could care less about what she wears or if her wig is "slaying" but I fell in love with her after seeing her performances. They were a mix of class, art, dancing, and spontaneouity. If she tones down her music and look, I'd hope she'd share the Joanne album through visuals and compelling live performances. Beyoncé is unmatched when it comes to storytelling performances. VOLANTIS 16,406
Beyonce has always been topping the game as a Stage performer. Who else can kill the choreo straight for 2 hours and not miss a breath? Guest
Beyoncé has evolved so much in the past few years into something completely next level. She's topped not only Gaga's but everybody's stage game.
AlphaMonster 1,806
Yes but not because she is more talented. First of all, let's admit that beyoncé is a better dancer. On top of that, her not singing choruses except ballads, and using pre-recorded vocals allow her to be nearly acrobatically active on the stage. Since "Beyoncé era", Beyoncé set out coherent visuals on all her artistry. Her stage performances are engineered perfectly to the extent no Gaga stage performance ever was. Let's assume that Gaga's performing peak was Monster Ball. Her stage performance was more authentic rather than engineered. Before Gaga, only Madonna & MJ had elaborate stage performances among all pop performers. Gaga made this mainstream but Gaga's biggest talent is her authenticity. She has to renovate her stage performances and surprise us once more to reach a new peak in his stage performances, obviously I have no idea how this can be; it is up to Lady Gaga to find. Yeah this, I think Gaga should focus on how to renovate her stage performances as her being a more theatrical performer rather than trying to perform super well engineered setlists like Bey or Madge. erfaan 2,815
She has cool performances which are really manufactured and polished but I think Gaga has better tours and is more innovative. The artRAVE stage was honestly so underrated and gaga legit changed concert GA culture. No longer was it about getting barrier, but for once, the vantage point was everywhere. Don't even get me started on the BTWBALL or TMB. They honestly trump any of of Bey's concerts in terms of theatricality and stage innovation.
doppelganger 3,933
She ticks all the boxes (voice, choreo, staging) but Beyonce's performances always leave me cold.

This! Gaga has the soul, the emotion when she performs. Beyonce is amazing but it almost feels too rehearsed? I live for Gaga's authenticity. 33 minutes ago, AlphaMonster said: Yes but not because she is more talented. First of all, let's admit that beyoncé is a better dancer. Crystalline 993
100% yes. If this was 2009 or 2010 I would feel differently, however (fight me) Gaga's gone down hill a lot since the first few years of her career and is overrated a lot by this fanbase. Both are great performers but Beyoncé really is one of the greatest performers in a long time, she's on another level.
Lucas 26,962
It could be pre-recorded scenes of her dancers or of herself it would be the same, and she did this 400 times before, so no.
