That's old news. Look at Justin slaying the charts, and back in 10/11/12 everyone hated that poor guy.

Yeah but sadly GP is more judgemental with women, it happens a lot in the industry, one bad step and they will forever have in their minds no matter what...

All those Gaga moments that you named, will remain and stay as most iconic things that she did in her career. A lot of popstars made even worse things and still remained untouchable, take M for example. That's not the reason why people won't see Gaga as they do Adele, she showed to the world that she has the talent (Cheek to Cheek, Till It Happens To You, Sound Of Music, AHS)  everything she needs right now its a good promotion, i bet that 70% of the US doesn't even know that she is about to release an album, and 90% Worldwide.

I am fully on board with Gaga not wanting to promote this album to the full extent. I get that. But, there is a difference between her not booking every possible promo spot and her just having NONE. I'd really like to see her perform MR on TV. I don't like the argument that she's "focusing on promoting the album" and not singles, because to have a successful album, you SHOULD have successful singles/single promotion, right? I don't feel like this is the MTN or the GUY to past albums, so why do I feel like this album is already being treated that way? Like it's in the final phase and nothing can be done to save it? I think MR could be a moderate hit if given the light of day.

Yeah, I completely agree, like even Beyonce released Formation b4 LEMOANDE & performed it at the SB. The only mistakes she/her team did was to not put Formation up on itunes & her vevo channel, it would've charted really well if they did.

Well i'm speaking from my perspective, in my country (Ecuador) no matter how many things she does all that come to their (tiny, closed and useless) minds is the meat dress. Like seriously they can't get over it and it's frustrating. Yesterday I asked the manager from Musicalisimo (a music shop) if they're gonna have Joanne, and he didn't even know she was releasing this year, such a mess, he had to Google it and they turnt to me to say: "Oh the meat dress girl, I don't really know, come in a week for more info"

Hopefully things change around her, i've been educating all my Friends about her as much as I can, I made my family stan... I'm hopeful people Will eventually notice her talent beyond her looks...
