If what you're trying to say is you hate what Gaga's doing because it's not raking in money...

What you say you're trying to say:

I'm just stating facts between artists who have their say in making music, could contribute(or not) to charts/sales success. You're blind and incapable to understand that simple comparison.

What do you mean? What are these comparisons trying to say? Do you think you're making sense? :sharon:

And honey trust me, I don't care if you're a fan or not. All I care about is that posts in this cult site make even a tiny bit of sense, and unfortunately yours don't. So... delete your account? idk. :reductive:

I think she has never believed in an album so strongly as she believes in Joanne. See the deeper signs of her happiness, promo is superficial

I think she's role playing as a non celebrity starting small with dive bar tours and radio interviews a la early TF till she gradually ends up at the Superbowl - a complete opposite.

Indie queen indeed

imagine the tour being only stadiums

will be the opposite though because she didn't sell well last era and she's not doing hits this one either, i guess a more personal approach has advantages too

Wow, how on earth is everyone overlooking that Gaga is booked as the headliner for the SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW? That is the holy grail for any artist. Over 100 million people will be watching.

It doesn't matter if it's a few months after the release of Joanne; the sales will skyrocket afterwards and continue selling for months thereafter. For example, Beyonce hasn't had a single "Lemonade" track make a real impact on the radio, yet the ALBUM itself continues to sell amazingly well. That's what is supporting her sold out tour, as well.

Longevity in album sales, not singles, is the key. Yes, usually a hit single will sell the album....Gaga doesn't even need that this time around; she is doing the freaking Superbowl! (I know I sound like a broken record, but I feel like people aren't grasping how massive that is).

Same goes to Adele and Beyonce. But look at their sales and what the critics say.

I mean, let's not lie to ourselves and say the GP doesn't gravitate more towards Adele and Beyoncé. To a lot of people, Gaga is considered "gay" music, more so than Adele and Beyoné. Not so much now, but she still carries that stigma unfortunately

If she was more proud of Joanne she would want to boast it and have as many ppl possible hear it

Also, I just want to know, why are you always doubting Gaga and her star status? She is past her peak, she is no longer the "it" girl, she is a household name, her enigmatic appeal has worn off; that does not take away from the fact that she is an excellent songstress, a brilliant performer, and an outstanding vocalist. She has received so much acclaim yet no artist is able to keep riding that commercial high

Look at Madonna, Britney, Beyoncé before BEYONCÉ, Michael, Bowie, Mariah, Katheryn even; they are no longer at their peak but they are icons, as is Gaga, who are still critically helmed as greats and are still in the business in spite of poor record sales as their careers have went on. Quit expecting all this YAAASSSS Gaga chart success. Joanne is most likely gonna hit number one in terms of album sales, so you have that, but quit expecting Gaga to continue her single and radio success. Just be glad she has not and may never become a sell-out. She is not desperate for money, she has enough for years and is basically set for life

Hence, she cares more about the performance, more about the music, more about herself than to continue these high stan expectations. Let her live, let her breathe, but most importantly, let her be herself. If you think you can find Gaga some promo at a low cost factoring in all of the things Gaga wants in a performance, in her green room, on her tour bus, her look for the night, her look for the day, her look for the after party, go for it, no one is stopping you. If you or any other Little Manager think you can do a better job than Bobby and Gaga's marketing team, do it, go get your education, go get your connects, start from the bottom and work your way up the pop music food ladder until you reach Gaga, and tell her what to do if you find yourselves so disappointed by her lack of promo this era

I think we're just seeing time and energy a little more spread out -- not just her music career but other projects as well, especially now that she's doing more acting.
