How would you feel about "Hey Girl" being a single?

Personally the beat and vocals really captivate me (from the snippet at least).

Imagine a video with Gaga and Florence.

I would personally live for imagery like this:

It sounds boring and Florence's voice sounds terrible. It makes me cringe. :toofunny:

I don't want to be negative to a Gaga song because I have high hopes that it will be great but from the snippet I think it's the least single worthy track.

I really want a fantasy/forest based video like that. Look at some of iamamiwhoami's videos, I could see them releasing it as a single and doing something like this.

just erase the G.U.Y. image and everything's perfect

HG & DIC are the only tracks im actually excited to hear

i say release joanne as a single and choose the rest of the singles for their necessary visual contraparts rather than their gp friendliness

I'll wait for the full track but it doesn't seem like a single from the snippet. :reductive: Maybe i'm wrong though.

Start this video on mute at 3:50 and play the Hey Girl snippet, it almost fits perfectly.

I'm not here for those visuals but I'm definitely here for the song being a single

The snippet makes the song sound like a 70's soul midtempo ballad so inwould assume a video would revolve around that aesthetic. I actually think all of the Joanne videos this era will revolve around the musical themes rather than concepts, etc. if that makes any sense :laughga:

but I honestly don't see this song being a single
