The question is not about Madonna. Madonna's Ray of Light was an act of settling down after a loud image, going soft in a Pop career. That's why people always ask how ARTPOP was gonna be Micheal Jacksons Thriller, which ment it would be super conceptual and creative ideas, which it was. Take a chill pill. But Ray of Light was forward looking in production, while Joanne is like a throwback/retro. Joanne will be a great album... but it will be nothing like Ray of light... and knowing how today's critics work, they will tear the album apart.. but then I do not care about critic, they are mostly crap.
