Noelle Martin fights to have selfie removed from 'parasite' **** sites

A young woman who had her photo stolen off social media and used in **** websites is calling on regulators to crack down on an emerging practice known as "parasite" or "morph" ****.

Noelle Martin was just 17 years old when predators stole a "selfie" she posted on her Facebook feed and plastered it over **** websites around the world.

Other harmless social photos of the young woman were also copied and pasted onto **** sites where users made explicit comments about her appearance, a practice referred to as "parasite ****".

In others users doctored images to put her head on the body of **** stars, known as "morph" ****.

Now aged 22, Ms Martin is finishing a law degree and said she felt violated by the continuing use of her image.

Just got of the phone with her and she is understandably super nervous, it's a really personal story and she is worried about the trolls and the hate she is inevitably going to receive.

She is genuinely amazing though, love her so much.

I'm sorry if it wasn't clear, it's just super exciting. The ABC is major. They are doing a giant national campaign with T.V/Radio/Print/Social Media using Noelle's story in order to push for criminalising Parasite/Morph ****.

It's not actually clear in the article but she had 100's of her images stolen, posted on all sorts of **** sites and **** blogs and had those images edited and photoshopped onto countless fake p*rnographic images.

It's really been a huge problem for her that's plagued her for years.

If I were her id stay away from reading any comments on daily mail articles about this because people are so rude and mean on them and always victim blame.

She's very brave for doing this and should be proud! A lot of other people this has happened to might feel comfortable to come forward now she has spoken out. Really hope this works out for her!

She won't even read the ABC article even though it has no comment section. She has been really nervous about the hate and everything, she is ignoring it all.

Good on her! It sucks that because of internet trolls people have to be scared or nervous. I'm sure she'll get much more support than hate
