The fewer performances, the better!

I see all of these comments about the lack of Gaga performances disappointing them; I couldn't disagree more! All of those little performances tend to get sloppy and under-rehearsed. When you have a couple massive performances, you will see a much more prepared Gaga.

Beyonce is a great example of this. If she did Jingle Ball, AMA's, BillBoard, and Graham Norton, it would take the Beyonce feel out of her performances. Her shows are so good because she only does a couple of them a year (excluding tours). She picks the high profile, most-viewership venues because she wants her performances to be a spectacle. When you do the big one's with the MOST eyes on them, it has much more appeal.

Look, Gaga has the Mother Effin' SuperBowl next year... THE SUPERBOWL. The biggest and best of shows. Let her focus on that because I guarantee you that the 13 minute SuperBowl will be 1000 Times better than 25 sloppy performances leading up.

She did a relentless onslaught of performances during the TF, TFM and BTW eras and most of them were great. And performances for this album wouldn't be half as elaborate as the ones for prior eras.

Quantity doesnt mean quality, she can do lots of performances and make all of them perfect

but honestly I'd rather have one amazing and unforgettable SB performance than 10 good TV performances that really won't make a big deal for her releases.

I get what you're saying. Looking back, almost all of the performances of "The Edge of Glory" were identical. There didn't need to be so many of them. But think about "Paparazzi," which was performed many times and in varying ways. It depends on Gaga's vision for each song.

I think that, because "Paparazzi" had existed for a while (even before The Fame), the song had come to mean so many things to her.

Beyonce doesn't need to do a lot of performances though, right now if Gaga wants to sell a **** load and do a lot of promo she needs to do these performances. I think performances on multiple tv shows performing an acoustic song from the new album (Million Reasons for example) could freshen up what the GP see and think about her and it would be nice to see her do more tv interviews and performances with that.

She should've promoted PI the way Ariana promoted Problem. She should be fully booked album release week and the month after. Gaga needs hits otherwise the album will be long dead by the Super Bowl. This album is going to destroy Gagas career if she doesn't do something.

That's not true about TEOG, there was a lot of variety in the performances
