if you look at your own comment, it has rather unfortunate implications, as if her work is sh!tty or unworthy of being released.

Not to mention, she's a rapper, and while I haven't heard her work, i'm pretty sure there are rapper who've gone farther and have been more explicit than she has.

Not to mention, she doesn't have to be under a label to release music. That is what the indie seen is for. For artists independent of labels. She has enough of a following to release an album, I don't see why she shouldn't.
