SlaeUrAnus 15,955
Gaga changes her mind all the time. She could wake up one day and think 'I miss being on top of the world, lets go create TFM 2.0' or 'I miss making music like that'. I understand that Gaga is an evolving artist, but do not rule out her reverting back to her 'old' self. She may want to do it for the fans or herself. In my messy era. Nobody knows this 3. Even Gaga doesn't know this 4. Gaga is looking as if she won't, but I think she'll always derive even some slight influence or inspiration from her earlier work or whatever inspired her to make that work at the time 5. The only difference is Gaga stripped down the theatrics and chose a bad first single. IMO she should have picked a good Red One produced song that still stuck with the theme of the album as the first single. Create impact, make a successful comeback while still holding true to your vision. I didn't understand anything about Perfect Illusion. i haven't heard the snippets cause i can't find them anywhere but i totally agree with your second point about picking a red one single and having success and impact while still relating to the album
Dayman 6,169
My question is why does anyone want another The Fame/The Fame Monster? Those albums already exist - why rehash an old sound when she can move forward to create a new album and truly expand her catalogue? Look at Cher, go tell me "Bang Bang" and "Believe" sound like they're from the same person. A truly talented and lasting force will change and grow as an artist.
