I really dislike this tweet of hers. It's just uneducated all together. She can support Hillary all she wants. But Hillary's actions are not morally right. Not saying Trumps actions are either - but I'm not saying thank you for supporting what's morally right if you're voting Trump.

Wonderful this post is actually everything! I don't support trump..... But it's annoying me how much she is praising hilary

She basically ruined any chance Bernie had by ****ing him over and for that it's unforgivable!

Also she has Parkinson's and is lieing....

Well, she also looks beyond Ghandi being a violent racist and John Lennon having an extensive history of domestic abuse and violent misogyny.

It's silly to assume that Gaga is educated on the short comings of people that are generally considered saints when 95% of the world is not.

wait what :toofunny: there really is no such thing as a flawless icon

Madonna and Katy Perry also support Hilary but I've never seen their fans try to drag them to hell:sweat:

I see that as a good thing. Gaga's fans are generally opinionated and idealistic millennials.

Gaga seems to gave grown up so quickly that she's becoming more pragmatic than idealistic.

I'm surprised this is such a controversial statement. I mean, obviously this is a community rich with queer people, and so a certain skepticism of most organized religions is understandable, but it's not like it's news.

Her Catholicism (both the way it informs and stands at contrast with her worldview) has hung heavily over most of her work. BTW is kind of amazing because it's basically her attempt to reconfigure the idea of "worship." Throughout her first three album cycles, perhaps the most recurrent motif was that of the bath--of baptism and rebirth.

She has never been antagonistic to the idea of religion and, indeed, it has suffused a lot of her work. She's just often expressed a position that is antagonistic to the way it is contemporarily practiced. A healthy exercise, I think. You're never going to abolish religion entirely. But you certainly can queer it, and I think much of Gaga's project has done just that.

I thought I was the only one who thought Hilary was just as bad as people are saying Trump is?

Imo Hilary is just as, if not more (truly, research her + Bill's bodycount & corruption), deplorable as Trump is. A fact disguised as an unpopular opinion. Sadly, I reeeeeally get the feeling a good portion of Clinton supporters just hopped on the bandwagon rather then choosing her after some serious thorough research.
