Do you think Gaga needs to scale down music-wise?

I was thinking this as I was listening to almost all the Joanne songs and I think, not only should there be more production but I think she should scale down on the lyrics, they're borderline un-singable and too wordy. It's almost like long poetry.

No no no no no hell no. For once I'm happy that she's writing poems instead of the usual verses. It feels that finally she has something to say...that's a sign of growing artistically ;)

Are they??

OT: A little of voice effects won't be a bad idea. Anyways we have't heard the songs with good quality and voices usually sound MUCH worse on poor quality recordings. I remember when I heard the PI leak, I thought her vocals were horrible but then the song came out and they sounded good

That's not what this means though.

That's the best part about Joanne so far.

Gaga's weakpoint in many of her pop songs are her lyrics. Lyrics are supposed to be poetic, to tell a story or convey an idea in a beautiful way.

But in most of her past songs, they're the exact opposite. I always criticized her for often writing in short (sometimes unrelated) phrases, rather than in flowing poetic statements.

With Joanne, it seems like she's finally writing like the latter, and I couldn't be more excited :firega:

Where have you all heard Joanne when it's only out on October 21st?

I mean we've heard the 30 seconds long snippets but no one has heard the whole album

Then why is everybody already making their opinion about the album, can't they just wait till October 21st?
