This does feel more like a song that many other singers could have sung when compared to her older ballads, it is cowritten by Hillary Lindsey after all, but it's still a pretty arresting vocal delivery with a beautiful melody and poignant lyrics. Sometimes that's enough, and I think it deserves the praise.
