Reid LePage 4,826
I am trying to find what people prefer or what people would prefer to hear from future music, not just for me but for other people in the music industry. Gaga seems to be coming thru with some next level **** on the Joanne album and that made me wonder, in terms of the pop music - do y'all want to hear more rock pop on the radio or stick to dance pop? PunkTheFunk 124,333
Why not both? That's like asking if I prefer french fries or pizza

Bette Davis 12,742
It depends on the artist. I prefer dance (synth) pop from Gaga for sure, but I'm still REALLY enjoying Joanne so far. Also, Closer is a horrible example of dance pop.. Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

Azor Ahai 18,861
Perfect Illusion is not pop rock and those other songs are not dance pop either lol. The Ashlee Simson song is more punk pop if anything. Maroon 5 is pop rock And basically every Gaga song that's not a ballad is dance pop.

Addison Rae 16,200
I guess it depends on how I'm feeling but right now I'm definitely into the more Rock/Pop sounds that Gaga and other artists are doing compared to dance pop sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
AlexanderMagno 10,746
Well... Your examples are tragic Pink is rock pop. Maroon 5 are rock pop. The Beatles are rock pop. Lady Gaga is dance pop. I'm sure there are many, many other artists, but you can't get a better example. Perfect Illusion is more like dance rock Disco-rock actually
