James Corden absolutely trashed talked her in the past and here she is performing for his carpool Karoke thing. She's performing a tribute to Prince despite his shady stance towards her. She reconciled with Madonna despite her being an absolute ****ing bitch she continues to worship Bowie despite his and his family's shadiness towards her Etc etc... how does she do it? But I think she has also to deal with inner feeling battles. It may be hard to do for her somethings, to step over previous "haters".
