Beyoncé - "Until next tour"

Let's not try and shade by counting the number of shows. Instead, please count the number of SEATS.

I could count on one hand the number of female pop acts who have been able to carry an entire tour with STADIUM venues. Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Madonna (who has since downsized back to arenas). Anyone I missed?

And what is the difference between the audience in those 3 acts?

Taylor's audience = mostly teenagers and their parents chaperoning. (following a teen trend)

Madonna's audience = mostly 30 - 50 year olds (experiencing nostalgia)

Beyonce's audience = 20's and 30's, predominantly. AKA, the key demographic for advertisers and tastemakers in popular culture.

I'm not trying to start stan wars, but instead point to the overall relevance of the Formation tour.

This is next level ****. Bow down, bitches.

Slay sweetie. I had two chances to see it in SJ but didn't. Then I was in New Orleans two weeks ago and she was there but I still didn't go. But the whole time I was there there I was thinking of the "what happened at the New Orleans!" part from Formation. I'll see her on the next tour

Poor Australia always gets skipped by the US pop queens!!

At least you guys have Kylie Minogue and get all her brilliant promo like her costume exhibit. So freaking jealous it's not even funny!!

Haha true. I don't want a rivalry. I just want everyone to accept that MADONNA IS THE QUEEN

You say 'let's not try and shade' but then you do just that by shading Madonna's audience by saying they were there for the nostalgia. Did you even attend the Rebel Heart Tour? At my show there were as many people in their 20's in attendance as there were in the age bracket you mentioned.

Secondly, do you even know what iconic means? I've noticed that term is used wildly out of context in these parts. I loved Lemonade and I enjoyed the Formation Tour but there was nothing iconic about it. Top notch entertainment, visuals and music yes but definately not iconic in the true sense of the word.

I did. It was a mess.

I agree, the word "iconic" has been absolutely bastardized in our culture today. But Beyonce's Formation tour is the absolute DEFINITION of it. Try again.
