Titzlol 607 Posted October 8, 2016 Share Posted October 8, 2016 So far this is by far one of the worst albums I've ever heard behind Bj and Bangerz... Maybe I have different taste then some of you. But her voice just sounds SO cringy belting and screaming on these songs. Everything else sounds like nursery songs and elevator music. I hope it grows but so far this album totally sucks. Sucks that I've been here since 2008 and she was my favorite since I was 13 and here I am turning in my fan card. I don't know how you all can listen to this and say "best album ever" and I don't know how she can call this a pop album. Lol, although, all my faves kinda disappointed me this year. oh well..... They also kinda sounded the same to me how can this be the same women who made The Edge of Glory, Bad Romance, and Scheisse is beyond me. But slay, I hope you all enjoy the album though. I walked into this album with a completely different expectation than I usually do with Gaga. I was ready for change- thats exactly what we got. TArL A-Yo does have a country vibe to it, I believe that Hillary Lindsey also worked on that one, so that could explain it. John Wayne doesn't sound country to me really at all. I really don't see it being better than The Fame Monster but seems an album you won't bother to listen tons of times in dozens of different situations. It seems very GP friendly, and the songs are really really easy to learn. I've memorize most of her new songs after first listen. Still...Gaga where's chorus like Aura...?? aura has a terrible chorus lol. no breaks in between any of her lines, constant high shouts, and lame lyrics. Joanne won't rule the Billboard or radio charts but it definitely has the potential to win a Grammy and become a classic record.
