I think it's relatively catchy. I like the kind of epic 80s rock style instrumental that's she's got going on here. The first verse most definitely reminded me of something Springsteen would do, and I think she channels that influence really creatively. However some of the lyrics are not only redundant but really corny on this record especially toward the end [...] That I can't help but laugh." PRISM and Bangerz weren't hugely hyped because Katy and Miley aren't known for making good albums and sure enough the albums weren't good hence the review scores Critics don't wait for sales and public opinion to come in and then base their reviews on that, public opinion usually lines up with the review scores which is why the best reviewed pop albums are almost always the ones fans like best too, because they're the best albums period. Keep in mind they give pop albums lower scores too which is why the albums we pop stans consider masterpieces like TFM, BTW, EMOTION, Blackout etc. only have scores in the 70s.
