juju 18,907
absolutely agree. The emotional impact of Speechless will never be topped. That was legit the first moment we saw the 'raw' Gaga - the first moment she peeled back the veil and shared a part of her soul with us (of course, we had demos and songs by the SGBand, but strictly speaking for officially-released songs in this post tbh). Brown Eyes was cute, but not revealing; the whole aura around Speechless was a rawness that hadn't been seen before in her days under the public eye, so obviously, it's going to hold a very special place in her career for the rest of her days. ❤ x ❤
AlexanderMagno 10,746
I'm secretly hoping Joanne will be her best ballad. Or Hey Girl.
iMonster 1,037
The Angel Down snippet said . . . Miley, What's good? I LOVE speechless and up until Yesterday it was undoubtedly my favorite ballad. But the snippet of Angel Down is really shaping up to become my fave. thopekas 723
well Speechless is soooooo basic compared to the ballads of Joanne, the only thing that has Speechless is the overproduction of RedOne , Joanne's songs on the other hand are much more special, deep, intimate, original and analog, just basic real instruments.SO Speechless WAS Gaga's best ballad. LaLuna 12,732
Well it's definitely my favorite ballad.
CakeLikeLG 6,275
the 30 second long snippet of Joanne destroys Speechless, Brown Eyes and Dope combined. Even Million Reasons is better than Speechless. This time she serves high-quality ballads with mature vocals and lyrics live each day like Gaga might drop an album
Ashley 9,371
It's her best so far but that could change once Joanne is released. Angel Down sounds very promising.
giskardsb 12,565
Speechless made me a Gaga fan so I'll always be partial to it. Plus that strong Queen rock ballad vibe is the best.
