Hm, no.

Beyoncé's Lemonade is extremely different from what she was doing before funnily enough is filled with jazz & country influences mixed with r&b.

Madonna changed her style drastically in the 80s with Like A Prayer and continued to do so with every other release till Confessions On A Dance Floor.

Gaga is still pop. She's doing pop music but she is evolving and playing with different influences.

She could've experimented more with Kevin Parker (The Less I Know The Better)

She would sound so good singing that  I hope she does a whole album with him as long as it's more Currents and less PI.

When she's had Speechless and You&I, I have a hard time understanding why anyone would think the sounds of the three "country-ish" songs are out of the ordinary for her.

They fit right in with those other two up there.

That's easier for you to comprehend than the fact that some of us can enjoy non pop genres? When pop music truly dies I can't wait to see y'all clinging to TFM at age 30

How old are you guys? POP music is not just DANCE SLUT DROP YOUR ASS ON THE FLOOR. Lighten up! Pop is a broad genre, actually is the only genre that you can get away with mixing anything over a catchy melody. Some of you clearly need to listen to more music...

Of course she can, but she hasn't :laughga:

Like when I say stuff like ""She's not going back to her TF/M or BTW dayss!!111!! She needs change!1!!"" as you so eloquently put it, what I also say is that it's understandable that many fans of her older work would find this change difficult. It's very different to her old work, it would be hard to believe that everyone into electro-pop euro-dance type music is also into Jazz and country.

It's fine that some fans won't like this era, it's understandable too, but if you are one of those fans who only likes TF and TFM or if you are one of those fans who wants Gaga to find the chart success she had during that time then maybe it's time to accept that Gaga isn't that artist anymore.

Well look at the music she was creating before The Fame. If anything, TF was her most inauthentic self.

Then Born This Way is a fraud.

I honestly think the rest of the album has a much more rock-ish sound. Why would she perform non-country songs in Nashville? It only made sense.
