Every album sounds different. Y'all need o stop deluding yourselves that she had never changed her sound before from 2009-13, and ARTPOP to Joanne isn't an indistinguishable change to a genre people of pop music don't like. No one ever said that she has never changed her sound before. This is just her most drastic change.

Listen, you guys can have your opinion on this and that's perfectly fine. But country sounding music just isn't for ME. I'll always like Lady Gaga, but I'm losing touch with her as a singer. If my ears don't like it, they don't like it. No one is forcing you to like it. But if you knew Gaga well, you would know that she will never be the same twice. This is still the visionary Gaga. And she just created her latest vision.

Million Reasons was much less cringey than Speechless and Yoü & I. I completely disagree with this. I'm not saying the songs are bad, guys.

Just because it's not in the direction you preferred doesn't change that. Electronic pop is over. Y'all really need to get a grip on that and to be honest, that seems to be the root cause of the meltdowns. No shade, but y'all wanted an Adele where each album is like the last. To be fair, PI has synths in it, they're just not as prominent like Just Dance. The lyrics she sings are very much still GAGA. I do not consume much country (which is not the genre she is heading towards, tonight's performance was POP), but I know a well crafted song when I hear one. The songs she played tonight, while not something you would probably hear regularly on the radio, weren't bad songs. And that's another distinction y'all struggle with. A genre you don't like =\= a bad song. One thing to note is that you can tell she had matured as a song writer. Million Reasons was much less cringey than Speechless and Yoü & I. IDK, it's just not her shtick. Also, the "call me Joanne" bullshit is kind of off. What the hell. It's just so messy. Edit: I'm okay with some rock and country INFLUENCES but going on full country (like on Million Reasons) just puts me off. What is "Full on country"? There is a lot of stylistic country things that are just not present in MR at all. It has guitars. That doesn't make it country. It's just a slow song. bradshaw 266
These immature ladies will have meltdowns until they finally give up and stop stanning Gaga. No offense but they come off as entitled, brain-dead 12 year olds. They can't comprehend music that isn't anything other than flamboyant, homoerotic music that comes from the sewers of Britney Spears house. It's a damn fact at this point. They wanted wish-washy electronic pop that wasn't too serious in meaning and she delivered ARTPOP. I don't even need to go into detail how they treated that flawless album so vile. This fan base is silly. i caught your fever, i'll be feeling it forever
