I'm already prepared to be called a flop fan. I love Gaga, I love that she's doing what she wants to do. I would have loved this song immensely but I really really really can't get passed the whole country influence of it. I'm still buying the album. Gotta support my queen, I MIGHT go to the tour depending on the set list and I'll be here for discussions until the next era. I'm just slightly sad that of all things, country killed the hype of an album I was so excited for.

It's understandable to dislike the direction she is going, it is a pretty drastic departure from her old work, but for some I wonder, is there a reason to stay and complain?

If this new direction doesn't appeal to you, it's understandable, but you have to accept it at some point. She is different, she is changing, she will continue to change. You loved the work she did in the past and that's great, but she isn't going back to TF/M anytime soon.

There are some fans who didn't like BTW, ARTPOP, C2C or this new direction and it's like.... Okay you loved 2 eras but maybe it's time to let go.

I never said I wanted TF/M back, I wouldn't mind a natural progression though rather than going from Venus to Florida GAGA Line though.

I can't stand when users say you can't express your opinion because it's 'negative' (doesn't mirror their own). If I have an opinion, dammit I'm gonna share it. 

I wasn't impressed with any of the songs tonight. And I'm not impressed with the studio version of MR either. Call me a flop fan, call me a fake fan, a little popster, tell me to go stan Katy, whatever. 

I preordered the god damn album, I bought the 35$ shirt, I'm still supporting her cuz I'm not a fake, flop, chartster fan, I just really don't care for this direction.

Well, I'm not specifically talking about her direction with this album with that comment. I'm just talking generally, now.

But, I do think that in a sense we cannot solely judge something the first time. This is the first time she's performed those records, yes, she wouldn't have performed them that way unless they weren't indicative of the album's version, but we still can't really fully judge it. I mean, now I've seen some people saying that the studio version of Million Reasons is much better than the live version. I haven't listened to it yet, so I can't give my opinion on that, but that's what I've heard.
