People Are Camping Out For Lady Gaga In Front Of The 5 Spot Right Now

Lady Gaga fever is alive and well in Nashville right now.

A group of about 20 fans have gathered in front of the The 5 Spot and they’re all hoping the rumors are true – that Lady Gaga is indeed kicking off her “dive bar” tour at the small East Nashville music venue tonight.

Dressed in a Lady Gaga t-shirt, Justin Nelms dances to “Bad Romance” in the parking lot in front of the venue Wednesday afternoon. Nelms, along with Gandara Gallishaw, have been camping out since 12:30 a.m. They were the first fans to arrive and made the drive up from Atlanta late last night to claim their spot.

“We’ve been here since about 12:30 last night,” Helms said. “Around 3 or 4 in the morning we saw (Lady Gaga) get in her car really quickly and leave. But that’s all we’ve seen or heard so far.”

According to a press release from Anheuser-Busch (who has partnered with Lady Gaga for the tour), Gaga will be playing dive bars across the country to perform songs from her new album, Joanne, which drops Oct. 21. Gaga’s Nashville performance is set to be streamed live, which would explain the satellite truck in the parking lot behind the venue.
