Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know Hollywood publicists have spun "rehab" to become a sanctuary for anxiety, but let's be honest. He's getting sober. Or at least, is trying to. 

Idk how the system works in the USA but there are places where you can temporarily live when you have psychological problems instead of taking suicide. Not saying he may try to stop smoking again but this is mainly for his suicidal thoughts. He talks about feeling alone and stuff already since before Day n nite came out. Even since his dad died when Cudder was young. It's not due to marijuana.

All I know is US... but I do know that in the US, the traditional "rehab" system offers no flexibility for any kind of drug use (even weed). And usually celebs claim "anxiety" when in actuality they are going to drug rehab. I can't proclaim to know Cudi's situation, but it certainly looks like he's trying to get sober. 

No aggression towards you tho. Who among us has any idea what he's going thru! I only wish him the best. But this could be a career killer if it "works." You can't sing "Day and Night" with conviction if you are sober.

There's rehabilitation centers for mental illnesses though especially if you have have suicidal tendencies. I mean, you don't have to believe it but I truly think he went for the reasons he stated. 

He said he quit smoking marijuana years ago because he got tired of people just associating him with that. Not sure if it's true or not and obviously marijuana won't make the symptoms of mental illness better depending on the person, but I don't think he went just because of that.
