All that happened was that she had a change in musical direction, a new perspective of things. So there wasn't a completed album that got scrapped. She did so many songs before drilling down her musical path, and what she wanted to sound like for the album. And here we are, 17 days away from 'Joanne' finally being released. Synth-dance tracks seem to be his strong suit, so hearing that he worked on a ballad with Gaga was quite off-putting. He'll just have to surprise me then.
