But I can't stress it enough... IT. IS. NOT. SINGLE. MATERIAL. It's like ARTPOP the song, the perfect song at the core of the album that has the essence of what the era is about, she had plenty of statement songs on the album that could have been singles instead - Hair, Scheisse, even partially Americano. Also it's pure autotune it's not even created to be sung live. And thats fine. It sounds so much better on the album than it did in BTWB HML is one of fan favorites but I think that was its only intention, to be dedicated to fans. I'm telling you it would have smashed hard. The chorus is pure perfection and would have been such an ear-worm. I've done this test to Gaga 3 haters back during Oct 2013 when the song was released, all of them loved the intro and the tune of the song, 2 even start dancing upon listening first, they fell in love with it.
