I get that she has body issues and she's against supermodel cliques lording it over everyone else with their "you can't sit with us" attitudes but she needs to just shut up sometimes. It's like when she had to twist Gaga's vomit performance to be supportive of bulimia just because she's sensitive as a bulimia sufferer herself. It's like she's the uncool sibling reminding everyone that she exists and her feelings matter too. It's just too much. This is a girl who has written at least two disparaging songs about her female peers (Camilla Belle and Katy Perry), has a squad of primarily white supermodels/actresses/singers, and gave $250K to Kesha after a long 2 days of silence when many other women in the industry vocalized their support. On all three issues Demi was right. I known Demi is socially awkward and comes off overbearing, but I've grown to really like her and the direction she's taking her music. Thats not what Demi's issue was though. She was bashing taylor and her squad because they are all 5'10 with slim figures. If she wanted to bring attention to the modeling industry regarding eating disorders, then Taylors name never had to be brought into it. And as far as talking about the Bad Blood MV, again, if she wants to spread light on feminism, fine, but dont be petty and drag other people into it, when she probably doesnt even know the half of went down between taylor and katy.
