Whatever it is she does will be viewed by a multitude of people, so I just hope she thinks thoroughly about what it is she wants to show herself as. But we are talking about Prince here, someone who hardly has any backlash or detractors from the demographic. The audience knew exactly what they were getting from him. Please don't tell me you can actually expect Gaga to go onstage like that, and not have articles and tweets the next day writing about how disappointing her act was. Just imagine that for second! We had Katy, Beyonce, Madonna for the past few shows with their grand productions and choreography, and suddenly we have...this. What a way to downgrade the standards... Her turn to redeem all the backlash from ARTPOP and have the general public shook. Perfect Illusion announcement has me so excited but then the song dropped and it was such a big let down. This as not the Gaga I was expecting. Where was the Gaga who pushed boundaries and used her genius mind to be creative and get the people talking? This was not the Gaga I was expecting. And it seems like this whole era will be this toned down funky rocky Gaga. Ok fine. Girl you do you. Be yourself and do what you're feeling . So it was more of a disappointed in my own expectations of what I wanted her to comeback as rather than a disappointment in her. Anyway, still haven't given up on this era. And then the Superbowl announcement came. This is the perfect opportunity for her to promote herself and give her biggest and most important performance ever. But then this interview comes out and she says "she's there to please the football fans????" girlllll hold up. Gaga listen to me. plz plz plz listen to me. You cannot **** this up.You have to give the best performance of your life. **** this whole "rock/fun/soul" phase. Or at least show us just a portion of it. We want crazy outfits, huge visuals, amazing choreography. The same things that made her the biggest pop star on the planet during her reign. She should do like an evolution of her entire career. Bring her most iconic moments like the meat dress, paparazzi blood performance, applause dress change etc. FOR GOD'S SAKE BRING BEYONCE!!! IF SHE ENDS UP BRINGING TONY BENNETT INSTEAD I SWEAR TO GOD... Gaga please..make the GP talking about you again. Just don't ditch every phase of your career that has led you to this point. Or else me and a lot of other monsters will be very very disappointed and let down. I never ever thought I'd be one to say this but I miss old Gaga and this Superbowl performance is possibly the last time we'll ever get to see that part of Gaga again but now the chance of even that seems low....... OT: I don't know much about the 'Superbowl culture' but wouldn't a theatrics performance do well? Like Paparazzi at the VMA's or the Monster Ball's story. Anything except for Applause at the VMA's cuz (surprise!) but I don't think that performance was very good (compared to the 2009 VMA at least).
